I Have been involved in the Landscape and Treeworks industry since leaving school, going on 38 yrs now. I have been involved with many major projects over the years. I first started at Helmrig in the early 80's, there were only a couple if us and 2 vans then, working out of a joiners yard in Preston before moving to our current Head Office in Leyland. like most I moved around and started my own business doing driveways, landscaping etc, also sub contracting to Helmrig for quite a few years before getting offered the position im in to date.I served in the reserve forces for 23 yrs , working my way up the ranks, becoming an instructor in weapons training, survival skills, and many other skills and qualifications, ending my time as an instructor on the Regimental Recruit Training Team I like the outdoors and like to get out and about when possible, be it walking or cycling
