At the age of 15, I started with Watson Bros,Airdrie ltd, main Vauxhall Agent, Time served vehicle technichia .I partnered up with a work colleague Jim Paton , were we set off to buy and sell" low price car`s" which was a good begining for us ,very profitable. I met up with another Motor Trade person called John Mcaleer, Together we opened, HOLYTOWN CAR SALES. Again very ptofitable and a majour learning curve for me. During a difficult time within Motor Trade , I opened a Family Fruit and Veg Business which lasted 5 years , again another majour learning curve. From this I then returned to the sharp end of the Motor Trade gaining a Car Sales executive position with PETER CANNON FORD. This was my best ever Job, i was so motivated and hungry for Business, I became Top Sales Executive with high earnings and won sking holiday`s with sales executive James Carruthers who is also a car dealer to-day.
