Principal Development Engineer for JCB Industrial working on the JCB Teletruk product range.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and responsible for the day to day running of the Development dept and Workshop. Responsible for Research and Development activities on various machinery including;Telescopic HandlersFork Lift TrucksBackhoe LoadersLoadings shovels Rough terrain fork lifts.Specialising in the JCB TLT, a unique fork lift truck with a forward reach boom.Strong knowledge of Tier 4 engines and key E+E activities including ECU's, software, displays, safety functions and electrical harnesses.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and responsible for key development activities on various compact machinery, specialising on the JCB TLT, a unique fork lift truck with forward reach boom. The lead engineer for E+E activities.Led Tier 4 engine programmes on the JCB RTFL and JCB TLT.Key skills include leading;Tier 4 Engine installation and integration sign off testing Hydrostatic and Torque converter transmission testingElectrical and Electronics including writing software requirements, J1939 CANbus, developing software, integration and fault code testingExtreme climate testing (+46°c to -20°c)Endurance testingStability testingLegislative testingSupporting other business functions including UK and Worldwide Field Service teams to diagnose and resolve machine issues both remotely and on the ground worldwide.
