I started working in high school on a dairy farm as a farm hand. During the summer time I would work 60-70 hours a week. I gained a lot of equipment operation skills there(skid loaders, backhoes, farm tractors, excavators, dump trucks, rollers, also mechanical skills, also a CDL Class B). Then I went to Triangle Tech to pursue my welding career gaining several welding certifications along with their scholarship(3G SMAW, 4G SMAW, 3G Unlimited FCAW, 4G Unlimited FCAW, 3G D1.5 Bridge Welding, 4G D1.5 Bridge Welding, 3G D1.2/12M Structural Aluminum GTAW, 6G API 1104 Downhill SMAW, 6G ASME Section 9 2" SCH. 80 GTAW Root FCAW Fill and cap, 6G ASME Section 9 SMAW) . During this time I started taking my own money and building my self up buying tools and equipment. I would start doing welding jobs on the side to make some extra money (equipment repair, tool boxes, trailer overhaul, handrail for a business, truck bumpers, bucket repair, general fabrication). The welding experience I received working for myself was invaluable I even welded on a fire truck. Along with working for myself, I work professionally for JWFI oil and gas division at Environmental Tank and Container. Here I build all different sizes of tanks and pressure vessels. I have gained much experience here, including the operation of overhead cranes, and lots of pipe fitting.
