My approach to experience and narrative design is informed by 15 years of experience telling stories across live, print, broadcast, digital and interactive platforms. I'm experienced in fiction, non-fiction and ideas-based storytelling from mass market to highly niched audiences and cutting-edge experimental work. ​Conservatoire-trained with experience creating both interactive and classical theatre, I am confident directing performers, scriptwriting and adaptation, as well as interactive narrative and exhibition design, ideation and building worlds from scratch. I have run writers’ rooms and collaborated with directors, sound and video designers as well as acting as a script doctor on games, interactive theatre and broadcast productions. As a writer and curator at the heart of Berlin's global art scene, I collaborated with artists innovating audience experience across film, performance, media, tech and interactive artforms. I have also taught workshop and lecture series in interactive narrative design at the Austrian Cultural Forum and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where I was an MA lecturer, responsible for assessing student portfolios, and designing and delivering courses of lectures and workshops.Experience in international journalism has given me unparalleled access to the real-life stories and ideas shaping the world we're in - from global politics and urban culture to indigenous climate activism and innovations in business and tech. An early career in strategic media communications provides a commercial context for my work and an understanding of how brand identity can be leveraged to serve audiences and build communities.
