Working within a local Dunedin business, my role was to supervise the floor operations of this diverse venue. Also as acting Duty Manager, I would provide guidance and support for staff in both the bar and restaurant services, ensuring effective communications and high levels of customer service were being offered at all times. I worked closely with the owners in ensuring a range of new and interesting craft beer product was always available.

I held a variety of positions with Millennium Hotels & Resorts over these years including as a Food and Beverage Duty Manager, Assistant Catering Manager (for Dunedin Town Hall division), Purchasing Manager and also a Fixed Term position as Executive Assistant Manager at Kingsgate Hotel Te Anau. Kingsgate is a part of the Millennium and Copthorne Hotel group so I gained a very good understanding of the purchasing and budget/ financials due to our internal group monthly reporting.
