Duties involved creating and reporting data, working with a wide range of people including national directors, clinicians and my peers and the audit of work, such as the use of CTC. Above the role day to day requirements, I helped found a data mangers group for the country, pioneered access to and the use of radiological and pathological data. The role involved excellent analytic skills, high levels of communication skills, ability to work under pressure, a keen insight in to the drivers of data quality and an ability to produce original thought which translates in to meaningful projects and changes.
