1. Responsibilities• In charge of daily operations onsite for ProjectPlus working at Australian Unity over 55’s living village.• Coordinating multiple trades, Liaising with Australian Unity site management team to coordinate daily workservices and weekly schedule programs affecting residents.• Scheduling and planning trades for Timber Rot program that incorporates 20 clusters of Units, servicedapartments, Villas, and Bungalows with over 600 residents.• Scheduling and planning Partial and full refurbishments of Units, serviced apartments, villas, and bungalowsas per plans, and regulations for Australian Unity aged care.• Scheduling and planning balcony reconstructions works due to failed waterproofing, restricted access, cranelifts involved, traffic management plan, SWMS, tool box talks.Site safety inspections• Program scheduling, forecasting, ensuring projects are on-time and to schedule, reporting any delays andkeeping open lines of communication.• Training and mentoring junior site supervisor/ cadet.• Ensuring company policies and procedures are being followed by contractors.• Reviewing contractor quotes, negotiating pricing, and reviewing refurbishment schedules.• Ensuring general maintenance is being done by contractors.• Dissolving conflicts and problems with resolutions as quickly as possible to ensure build times and trades werenot delayed.• Understanding the nature of Over 55’s living estates, rules, and regulations along with the delicate nature ofworking amongst the elderly and setting strict protocols with contractors around language, noise, and sitecleanliness.• Weekly reporting on site progress and updates to management.• Being able to think on the go and problem solve in a fast paced working environment, with a lot of movingelements and projects going on at once.
