U18’s lead coach for the college programme partnered with Riddlesdown Collegiate in Croydon. This is involves planning and delivering sessions to the U18’s that are on the programme. This also includes mid term reviews and analysis from training and games.

I am a 1 on 1 coach that delivers 1 hour technical sessions to footballers at any age and ability. All of the session is technical from the warm up, into the main session focusing on 8 key skill components that can be transferred into a players game and position.

Being the head coach for Welling United under 11’s means I have to make sure that the kids have the technical, tactical, social and psychological understanding that benefits them and helps improve them. I have to make sure that the team plays in a positive and progressive way which will aid them into progressing through the older age groups. I have to make sure my coaching schedule fits in line with the clubs philosophy. My responsibilities include preparing and taking training sessions, planning and justifying my match selection and then linking both training and matches together to show the kids what needs to be worked on next and to show them what is working well.

Community coaching, dropping into schools working with the participants core skills, also working with school teams and going to holiday courses delivering fun and engaging sessions whilst helping the participants learn more.

This role includes me planning and leading all under 9, 10 and 11 first team football sessions and teams. I plan my sessions for a weekly basis and also manage the teams on a weekly basis. I set my players targets and goals to help them develop and improve which is done on a small, medium and long term timeline. My aim is to prepare these players for when they reach the senior school (under 12 and 13 teams) so that they can fit in line with the schools philosophy.

I am the lead football coach for the Under 18 second team which involves me planning and delivering sessions to a high standard of players. My role in this job is to ensure that as many second team players can get a chance in the first team. This includes helping the first team players that have moved down and also any second team players that are striving to achieve higher objectives.

This involves me coaching the U18 first team, taking training sessions, writing up match reports, creating handbooks and assisting the manager on game days. I also help coach other age groups throughout the school and also help deliver P.E lessons.

Began assisting with the Charlton Advanced Centre working with the under 8’s and under 11’s. This involves me setting up and delivering sessions in line with the charlton philosophy and in line with the weekly topics making sure the players are having the most fun whilst learning at the same time.

Adding all data regarding fixtures and results onto the website for other coaches to use for training sessions and analysis of players. Detailed description of game time, how goals are scored and detailed training sessions added.

This requires me to record full games, cut and clip contents into highlights and then present them at training to other coaches and players, there is also a live stats sheet taken for game data.

Role model to the players, duty of care to players, coach the goalkeepers and outfield players, provide support and encouragement, create session plans that are creative and fun but challenging.

At Ridgeway Rovers it is my job to deliver football sessions to players of the age 9-10, I have a duty of care to the players and I am a role model to them. I take the players once during the week and once at the weekend for games.
