• Manage sub-teams, research & product design, process control and lab teams • Coordinate all activities of technical team on planning, project development and process improvement • Organize and drives the program with APQP process and performs manufacturing feasibility studies and sign off process, set program strategy and coordinate all resources for program launch. • Organize process improvement activities and evaluate the results. • Develop and assure facilities, tooling & equipment for the program, and assures compliance for Facilities & Tooling budget items.• Supervise and check the testing, inspection and auditing work of the lab • Organize and coordinates and follows-up all product and production quality problems solving arising during development period or, mass production or from the customer.• Plan, sponsor and supervise the research projects with the key universities.

• Lead metallic material related issues： material code, process, testing, new material development and new product introduction.• Introduce new products and establish new production line to localize the new products (ball stud, deep drawing stud sleeves, new heat treatment line, stamping line etc) for ITW Automotive BUs. The work include: product introduction, supplier selection, die development, material selection and test, prototype production and approval. • Development of China National Engineering Code <> and <>• Deliver professional support on metal material selection, standard recommendation and material localization for ITW BUs.• Support ITW global material sourcing strategy on material selection, recommendation and supplier auditing.• Establish metallic lab and manage the lab; • Failure analysis according to Asian ITW BUs’ request • Deliver technical trainings to ITW BU technical people• Global technical coordination

• Lead Ford Asia sheet steel technical and supplier approval• Serve as Ford Asia single technical contact on sheet steel• Develop and update Ford global sheet steel standard as Ford Asia member• Deliver technical support on global sourcing and local development on material selection, material substitution and suppliers manufacturing line auditing ;• Lead metallic material substitution approval for Ford AP plants• Establish Ford China metallic lab• Coordinate and manage some Ford research projects with some key universities in China• Deliver trainings to local employees and other Ford facilities in China.

• Manage Foundry plants • Reduce extraordinarily high casting rejected rate which is first priority of the total company ; • Develop new process for squeeze casting piston and kick off mass production; • Improve melting process and heat treat process to reduce rejected rate and save energy; • Introduce new product from Germany and modify casting process for the new product ;• Make each year investing plan, new employee recruitment plan and staff training plan.
