I have been working as a QA Engineer for more than 7 years. Previously worked at Netdimensions. Currently working at Chi-X Tech since Dec2015.In Chi-X Tech, testing is focus on messaging system, financial and trading systems (linux; messaging in FIX and some other protocol). Duties are mainly:- Analyse requirement and specification from a testing perspective- Formulate appropriate test approach and establish test plan & test metrics (draft test cases)- Develop test data, execute tests and generate reports- Setup and maintain automation profiles for regression- Monitor progress of testing activitiesThe duties at NetD are mainly about testing the learning management system (web-based). My role is focus on manual testing and auto-testing. I was assigned to be the coordinator for some complicated features.Besides designing test cases for manual testing, I was also responsible for UFT auto-testing, - coordinated the small team (UFT)- migrated old QTP scripting project to new testing tool (UFT)- analyzed UFT daily run result and reported bugs found by UFT- implemented new script for new features whenever neededI have learnt a lot from my previous/current company, through my supervisor, teammates, and other colleagues. I am capable of doing test case design, setting up automation script, and other working/testing skills.
