Hello, my name is Sam Yarkoni and I am a freshman at Rutgers University. It is my ambition to become a computer scientist in the artificial intelligence or gene sequence prediction fields. I have developed a deep interest in the technology and medical field, through research of artificial intelligence and biology. I am looking for volunteering opportunities or internships to learn and grow related to biochem and technology. Throughout my academic career, I consistently challenge myself with college and high level classes. In my participation within the student community, I hold prominent roles in clubs such as the Orchestra Council, where I proudly serve as the first chair violist, participate in the Spanish Honor Society as well as being varsity track team captain and a leader on my high school soccer team. Additionally, I am learning new coding languages such as Python and JavaScript as well as building computers in my free time.
