I am responsible for the entire legal function, including litigation, employment law, contracts, data privacy and security, intellectual property, and marketing.

As an in-house attorney at Yeshiva University, I worked across a broad range of practice areas, with a focus on litigation, employment law, disputes with students, and contracts (review, negotiation, and drafting). I worked throughout all other practice areas that touch on higher education, including intellectual property, FERPA, Title IX, real estate, insurance coverage, and COVID-19 rules and regulations.In this role, I provided counsel and legal advice for all of Yeshiva University’s undergraduate, graduate, and high school programs, including Yeshiva College, Stern College for Women, Cardozo Law School, Sy Syms School of Business, Katz School of Science and Health, Wurzweiler School of Social Work, and Yeshiva University High Schools.

As an associate in Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler's litigation and employment departments, I represented clients in complex commercial disputes and advised clients on employment issues. On the litigation, side, I litigated contract disputes, false advertising matters, employment cases, and other commercial matters. I also managed e-discovery and document production in connection with civil litigations and am proficient in Technology Assisted Review (“TAR”). I represented clients through a broad range of industries, including a major pet food company in a "bet the company" litigation against a competitor and a supplier, a leading philanthropic foundation in litigation brought pursuant to the Alien Tort Statute, pharmaceutical companies in claims asserting that their products were counterfeited and illegally imported, and a monoline insurance company in claims related to residential mortgage backed securities.On the employment side, I advised clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. I drafted employment and separation agreements, employee handbooks, and other employment policies and agreements. I also conducted internal investigations into alleged harassment and discrimination. My clients were in various industries, with a particular focus on foundations, universities, and other not-for-profits.
