What's not to love about maximizing resource utilization while striving for the highest product quality possible? Working side by side with people who operate the machinery day in day out is the first step in understanding the root cause of issues. Objective: Finding improvement initiatives and agreeing on solutions that improve both S&W and process efficiency through an array of tools and programs.I enjoy having challenging projects that can show improvement through statistical analysis, measurable numbers and feedback from ones who operate. If there is a process, there can be improvement. My experience in improvement started with washing buses - What is the best way to complete the task at hand in the shortest time, while providing the best quality finish? Through years of washing buses, I came up with a standardized work program washing from the top to the bottom of the bus, cleanest to the dirtiest to maximize water quality. Luckily throughout the years, I have taken the same mentality for improvement to university and into my early career as a CI Engineer always striving for one common thing.Improvement.So when is it a good time to start the journey into improvement? Why not now?
