Orchestrated technical data and supported business development group to pursue a majority ownership of Airfoil Technologies International in Singapore, an undisputed leader in repair of low and high-pressure compressor (HPC) airfoils, to improve GE Aviation balance sheet. Drove development of solid-state welding technology to repair complex 3D aerodynamic geometry of HPC airfoils across multiple engineering departments within GE Aviation. Developed and implemented repair solutions on fan and high pressure compressor (HPC) for CFM56, CF6, GE90, CF34, GEnx, GP7200 and other engines. Supported global network of repair shops (OEM, revenue share partners and third-party) by issuing and publishing cold airfoils repair documents annually in multiple engine manuals. In addition, hardware owner for repair on GE90 high pressure turbines (HPT) blades. Transitioned GE90-94B HPT blades from Glades to GEASO and captured millions of US dollars in savings.

Redesigned CFM56 high-pressure turbine shroud from N5 material to a low-rhenium material and captured material cost savings of $310K annually. Gained manufacturing processes and utilized Gemba Kaizen methodology to reduce cost while maintained design intents. As hardware owner, responsible for all design changes and support field experiences.
