I served as a drop-in tutor for students in all levels of Spanish classes. I provided help with homework, pronunciation, topics covered in class, and vocabulary.

First two months were spent training in all areas of the store and Target culture. Once placed in my permanent store, I spent the majority of my time leading a group of 20-35 team members in various processes to make sure the sales floor is full throughout the day. I lead the backroom team, the receiving/reverse logistics team, and a team who finds spaces where more product on the floor is needed (in-stock team). I also acted as the Leader on Duty in the store one to two times a week.

I tutored several students in Spanish. I had clients who were brushing up on their Spanish, clients who were learning Spanish from the ground up, and clients who were soliciting help for High School classes. I believe every student has the ability to learn another language, it just has to be presented to them in a way they understand.

I was a scholarship recipient from TFAS. I interned 32 hours a week (see position at the European American Business Council) and received six credit hours, three in Comparative Economic Systems and three in US Foreign Policy, all from Georgetown University. I was in the Institute for Comparative Political and Economic Systems, International Affairs track.

I helped get Cub Scouts in the North Star district of the Great Lakes Council signed up for Day Camp. I went into elementary schools with my boss to get them excited about scouting, and made a lot of calls to Cub Masters. I also worked on producing weekly newsletters and integrating Social Media into the advertising efforts of the Council. Camp enrollment increased 30% and volunteer positions were successfully filled during my time at the council.

I worked with event planning and management for HOLA (Hospitality and Outreach for Latin Americans). A lot of this was planning with vendors and volunteer translators. I also worked with digitalizing and organizing the information the company has into a more user-friendly format. In addition, I also helped teach English to native Spanish speakers.
