Contracted at Carlson for over 18 months, I worked as part of the network team at HQ in Minnetonka, MN. We managed most aspects of the LAN/WAN infrastructure including the Datacenter and MDF/IDF and numerous remote sites.Worked with various network routers, switches and firewalls. Implemented a variety of network solutions and did extensive firewall ACL implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting. I had a part in project planning and migrations, I worked directly and efficiently with other infrastructure teams on small to large scale projects.Some of my more enjoyable experiences, outside of the fantastic people at Carlson, was working with high-end Datacenter Networking, Load Balancing and Virtual technologies.
