As an ardent advocate for sustainable development goals, my professional journey has been a fulfilling intersection of academic rigour and hands-on fieldwork. Wth an M.Sc in Environment Management, specialising in Climate Change and Forests, and a B.Sc in Botany (Hons.), I've laid a strong educational foundation that allows me to view environmental challenges through a multidisciplinary lens.I'm currently serving as a Project Manager for One Tree Planted in India, where I manage a diverse portfolio of regional plantation projects. My role involves everything from strengthening existing partnerships to monitoring project progress through various communication channels. I also engage in frequent field visits to project sites, which allows me to monitor progress and identify scaling opportunities with partners. This role requires me to maintain stringent quality standards, including reviewing incoming project proposals and preparing agreements, all while ensuring the timely delivery of payments and reports.Before this, I gained extensive experience as a Program Associate and Lead Auditor at Eco-Stewardship Private Limited in Noida, where my focus was on Program Management, specifically in the FSC Forest Management and FSC Chain of Custody Program. The role saw me coordinate with clients across South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. I was also responsible for evaluating clients against FSC standards and providing technical guidance to clients and team members.Technically, I am proficient in tools like SPSS for data analysis and well-versed in MS Office for documentation purposes. My field expertise extends to participatory assessments and focused group discussions, skills that have been honed over the years through practical application and numerous certifications such as the FSC Forest Management Lead Auditor Training and ISO 19011 Lead Auditor Training.While I'm based in Delhi NCR, my work has a global reach, extending to clients and stakeholders in South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. I am multilingual and proficient in English, Bengali, and Hindi, which is an asset in my cross-border collaborations.In essence, my career has been a continual pursuit of transforming theoretical knowledge into actionable impact to promote sustainability.
