I am a third-year Loma Linda pharmacy student. I am interested in an outpatient pharmacy intern position. Please contact me at syousif@students.llu.edu I have finished my prerequisite for Pharmacy School at Cuyamaca Community College first then continued the prerequisites at San Diego State University. I believe that Pharmacy is one of the fields that keeps growing and changing which is fascinating. That is the reason why I want to expand my knowledge to help my future patients. I do that by taking at least one "Continuing Education" each month. Continue Education, or CE, are online courses that Pharmacist are required to do after graduation to keep up with this fascinating field. I started doing that in my first as I have promised myself to be a lifelong learner. It has helped especially during COVID-19 vaccination times. As I started volunteering twice a week during the first vaccine period, I found myself more aware of people's concerns and how to address those fears. These courses helped me because many of them addressed these issues.I also believe in having a community and working on our communities to make them stronger. My main activities includes making sure that people, classmates, and future clinicians are getting the help they need. I have been serving as The Wellness Coordinator for our class in which I can connect my classmates to certain departments to help them physically and mentally. I want to serve my patient in that way in the future. By guiding my patients to the resources available, so no one is left on his or her own. |Immunizations| |Community Pharmacy|
