Worked with a research team to investigate how the pandemic effected the education and wellbeing of children with disabilities. The research project was in collaboration with Cambridge University and was carried out in three countries.

- Conducted all research related efforts from instrument design to data collection to data analysis and publications. I worked with a team of researchers on Middle School Science Reading. We worked with 12 different middle schools to assess students’ scientific reading abilities as well as teachers’ professional practices over a three year period. We were interested in understanding the challenges in order to better equip them with new approaches that could assist in raising student's achievement level in science. - We supported the Supreme Education Council by providing lesson study based professional development training to participating schools on teaching strategic reading.- Worked with a team or researchers interested in evaluating a computer programming curriculum called Alice designed for students in K-12 school system in Qatar. - Led comprehensive evaluation of the curriculum and the effectiveness of the program leading to the possibility replication.- Written conference and research papers on the program and the academic aspects of the project- Assisted in the writing process of another proposal for a comprehensive three year K-12 program on computing education.

- As a member in Ta’allum’s Strategic Planning Committee, I worked with head office on relations, communication systems and branding for Al Jazeera Academy and Al Maha Academy for Boys and for Girls. - As the chair of the Ta’allum Accreditation Committee, I developed and acquired international & national accreditation for Al Jazeera as well as led Ta’allum Accreditation Committee in acquiring accreditation for the two sister schools. - As the leader of the administration team, I led the team in the school’s daily operations and developed documents as well as policies related to school operations. - Led the student services and special needs departments as they were under my administrative responsibilities. - Led public relations and coordinated with government officials. - Organized manpower and led job interviews for all schools under Ta’allum.- Developed Al Jazeera’s guiding statements and organizational documents as well as developing and updating public relations materials.- Organized and led professional development for the administration team as well as the Arabic department.

- Led projects in the establishment and operation of a K-12 International Schools. - Led school international accreditation efforts in partnership with the European Framework for Quality Management (EFQM).- Developed and organized all documents necessary to obtain a Qatari educational license.- Researched educational requirements to operating an international school examining education in Qatar as well as in internationally renowned schools operating in the world.- Took part in developing whole school educational and business plans based on the latest in educational philosophy and research. - Developed with a team of educators a Character Education and an Islamic Studies Models, Programs and schemes of work.- Prepared a provisional document in partnership with Microsoft for a smart school design.

- Developed all school policies and put operational and monitoring systems in place.- Trained all administrational staff (all fresh graduates) in their specific areas of work and prepared them to become leaders and work as a team. - Directed all aspects of school administration including but not limited to: - Human Resources, - Student Services, - Counseling Services, - Public Relations, - Contracts and legal work. - Special Needs - Learning Resource Center- Developed Values Education program to improve students’ characters - Developed a Student Incentive program to reward positive behavior in the school.- Led workshops on teaching and learning based on the latest educational research including thematic approaches with PYP and other teaching and learning methods.- Developed a whole school Professional Development and Technology Plans.- Led aspects of the School’s Self-Review (SSR) a SEC required self-study process done to evaluate all aspects of school operations every three years.

- Coordinated and followed-up with all SEC’s offices on all tasks requested by the director. - Appointed personal translator for the Director.- Managed procedures in the SEC’s Translation Unit.- Liaised with international visitors and organizations.- Assisted in preparing curriculum standards document for Social Sciences.

- Designed and taught “Who Am-I?” a sociology course geared towards forming the students’ identity and raising awareness of self, community and the global world.- Founded the Science Fair organizing committee.- Led some public relations efforts and brought in financial sponsorship for the school. - Written and directed school plays.- Designed courses for English Enrichment as well as ESL.

- Led the counseling department.- Headed student services.- Taught various grade levels G5-10 a number of subjects including geography, history, social studies, ESL, Arts, basic Arabic and Islamic Studies (in English).- Pioneered school assemblies and graduation ceremonies.
