We were interested in understanding the challenges in order to better equip them with new approaches that could assist in raising student's achievement level in science. - We supported the Supreme Education Council by providing lesson study based professional development training to participating schools on teaching strategic reading.- Worked with a team or researchers interested in evaluating a computer programming curriculum called Alice designed for students in K-12 school system in Qatar. - Led comprehensive evaluation of the curriculum and the effectiveness of the program leading to the possibility replication.- Written conference and research papers on the program and the academic aspects of the project- Assisted in the writing process of another proposal for a comprehensive three year K-12 program on computing education. -
