• I am a qualified ESL/EFL instructor with more than 20 years of tertiary/adult teaching experience in a university environment in Egypt and overseas. I have a near-native proficiency in English language (IELTS band: 8 in listening and speaking). Endowed with excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, I believe I have been able to cater to my students' different learning styles and needs. Due to my keenness on professional development, I got both Cambridge Celta and Delta. Moreover, I developed my digital literacy and knowledge of the pragmatics of e-learning: I have the ability to incorporate different ICT tools -like video conferencing, podcasting, micro blogging ,wikis and web quests - as well as Google tools for education to blend F2F with online learning and maximize learners’ potential. After gaining a considerable long experience in the field of teaching English as a second or foreign language , my intention is to develop professionally and broaden my hands-on classroom experience; this goal can be externalized by constantly joining seminars, webinars and the like to explore new teaching trends. Possibly, I will consider new roles in the educational arena like publishing materials, moderating e-courses or running a language institution.
