Managing submissions and solicitations, we round up the year of documentary shorts and showcase to a hungry New York audience. I also generate lucrative annual Short List Shorts alongside Artistic Director Jaie Laplante and Special Projects Manager Thom Powers where we name our top 15 films that we believe the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences should consider for Best Short Documentary.

Sisterhood Media is a company I started in 2016 that focuses on producing and streaming films, audio, and new media content for and by marginalized folks. We acquire films from emerging filmmakers to distribute their work to audiences interested in their stories that subscribe to the site. In addition to executing pre-, post-, and production details for in-house projects, we plan marketing campaigns and distribution for each film and podcast.Notable projects include 'hyphen-nation', 'where now?', 'Kaleidoscope Stories', and 'The Cancelled Podcast'

I work on a programming team responsible curating for the legendary Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival in Arkansas. Sifting through hundreds of film submissions, I assist in key curatorial decisions for the festival program, host conversations with filmmakers, and represent the festival publicly at events and galas. It is an honour to be an addition to this Academy Award Qualifying festival and impact documentarians' careers in a monumental way.

As the Industry Director for Future of Film Showcase, I lead, coordinate, and moderate the annual industry panel for the festival. Specifically catering to filmmakers under the age of 40, I collaborate with the FOFS team to produce an educational, formative, and important discussion for young people in the Canadian film industry.

Black Femme Supremacy Film Festival is a new film festival out of Baltimore platforming Black femmes, non-femmes, and non-binary black folks on screen. As a programmer, I screen 60 short film and documentary submissions, communicate with the filmmakers, and organize in five distinct programmes on the Black femme.
