Built and managed the music metadata quality and augmentation organization, which produced critical foundational metadata functionality and ML models. My organization was a pillar supporting all Amazon Music sub-organizations, serving 50-100 million customers. The org consisted of independent multi-functional teams (composed of Engineering Managers, Software Engineers, and Applied Scientists) that are responsible and focused on elevating music customer experience by improving metadata quality (correctness and coverage), augmenting and enriching catalog metadata to support new voice and visual experiences, and creating metadata translations that enabled launching cross media/modality customer experience. Built and led company-wide engineering organization (including engineers, engineering managers, and QA engineers).
