As a program manager and trainer at Healthy Teen Network, I pursue my passion for advancing sexual health and justice through education and collaboration. I train educators and healthcare professionals on evidence-based interventions that empower adolescents to make informed and respectful choices about their sexuality and reproductive health.I also coordinate and facilitate trainings on topics such as anti-fat bias, trauma-informed care, masculinity and sexuality, and sexting and digital behaviors, reaching over 250 professionals nationwide. Additionally, I manage the annual conference that features speakers and partners from various organizations that share the same vision and mission of Healthy Teen Network. With a Master's degree in Social Work from Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, I have developed skills in communication, collaborative problem solving, and caseload management. I have also gained experience in working with diverse and marginalized populations, such as girls, adolescents, and immigrants, through my practicum placements at Girls in the Know and Missouri Association for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.I am devoted to creating and implementing programming that is engaging, educational, inclusive, and sensitive to the needs and realities of the participants. I am motivated by the belief that sexual health and justice are human rights that should be accessible and respected for everyone.
