I'm currently a junior at The University of Texas at Dallas. I was born and raised in the DFW area having Arab heritage. I enjoy working with others, however I also feel that I am capable of getting the job done efficiently and effectively on my own. The reason why I chose a major in Business Administration, is due to the fact that I have always been interested in an entrepreneurial role and hope that one day I am able to own my own company/business that is related to remodeling and construction. I have worked in various sales and labor roles where I was able to expand my technical skill set and was given the opportunity to learn about various softwares such as Autocad, machine programming, and Slab-Smith.I currently work as a Sales Consultant at a car dealership where I am taught how to deal with customer relations and how to work with banks and loans for client purchases. Through this role, I learned that consumer and business relations are important. Without the positive experience of previous clients, I believe that companies can’t expand to their fullest potential. I am trained in dealing with clients and showing and explaining different products to help improve the sale. My current role has helped me grow and strengthen many skills such as collaboration, communication, leadership, time management and critical thinking. I believe my previous professional roles working in various fields such as sales and remodeling, construction, fabrication, and car sales have allowed me to develop both technical and soft skills that would prove beneficial to any professional environment.
