As my CV shows, I am a self-motivated, experienced, and published social psychologist and licensed marriage and family therapist. My education and training in both marriage and family therapy (8 years) and applied social psychology (PhD) means I have a wide range of skills and experiences that are of value in both research and therapeutic settings. I have directed and assisted with quantitative, qualitative, and mixed method research projects stemming from my training in methods for all three. In addition to being a teaching assistant for many years, I have both co-instructed and been the instructor-of-record at the university level. I am currently working as an adjunct instructor at UVU teaching 2 courses. My experience as an ad-hoc reviewer for two journals, many publications and presentations to academic and non-academic audiences, and my ongoing research contributions in theoretical psychology testifies to my exceptional public speaking and writing skills. Altogether, my academic and professional experiences show that I am a virtuous leader, dedicated worker and researcher, quick-learner, and driven professional who is a valuable addition to any team.
