Role as a Software Engineer in Aquaphoton Academy:• Designed and developed the main graphical user interface using QT framework and Python.• Pre-processed underwater images to enhance their quality for further processing using tools like OpenCV library in python.• Programmed the main ROV's firmware that is responsible for all tasks using Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and C programming.• Implemented Deep Convolutional Neural Network along with deep-learning-based computer vision tools to finish different underwater tasks without the need for a pilot.Aquaphoton Academy is a student-run technical team, based in Alexandria University. Formed in 2012 as an initiative by Aquaphoton Co and is passionate about building Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). The team has been proudly taking part in the annual MATE ROV Competition; ranking 2nd in Egypt’s Regional Competition in 2021, and finishing in 5th place in theInternational MATE ROV competition held in Tennessee, USA.

Role:• Built and developed a team of autonomous mobile robots to play soccer in a highly dynamic environment that mimics a real soccer field.• Developed an autonomous ball tracking algorithm to improve the speed of capturing a ball.• Coded a camera tracking algorithm to identify the best shooting strategies by localizing the opponent's position.Achievements:2016:•1st place in regional RoboCup competition and qualified to the international help in Leipzig, Germany.•Best Super Team Integration from the international competition.2015:•1st place in regional RoboCup competition and qualified to the international help in Hefei, China.•Best Super Team Integration and Best Poster Awards from the international competition.
