This highlighted areas where there were little or no written procedures. This enabled the company to formulate a more structured approach across all locations.- Compiled the business plan for a £3million SME, ensuring the company received their bank loan for their growth programme- Project managed the regression testing of software for a major freight company, highlighting procedural discrepancies throughout its various depots- Assisted a firm of Accountants and Business services in liaising with their clients and scheduling work according to priorities- Consulted a glass manufacturing business in future planning

Full budgetary responsibility with four direct reports and reporting to the MD with responsibilities including production, purchasing and accounts for the workshop, an introduction of lean principles to the stores and office, customer management as well as all operations.- Negotiated with the Manufacturing Institute to provide Lean training for all production staff, implementing lean processes across the board, leading to an increase in OTIF from 50% to in excess of 90% with a 20% reduction in waste- Identified and specified the changes required to fully integrate the software system, negotiating SLA’s with the software company and achieving a fully integrated system- Project managed a £1m+ order for a provider for Network Rail, negotiating reasonable timescales and costs with Network Rail, delivering the project on time and within budget- Successfully coordinated a complex project between a Canadian signalling company, Transport for London, a Swiss supplier and the company’s manufacturing team- Performed appropriate duties during long periods of absence of the MD
