Most recently formulated a high performance polymer-based barrier membrane for Imasco, which was launched in June 2014 as a new addition to the product line and enabled the company to enter the trending market of energy efficient construction materials. This superior quality product exceeded most and met all ICC (International Code Council) testing requirements. Managed product development projects from initiation, experimental planning, execution, to technology transfer for scale-up production. Made improvements to the existing formulas to improve their performance and to lower their cost. Involved in manufacturing design of ultrafine minerals and their applications in polymer extrusion industries. 

Designed and executed new nanoparticle synthesis methods for improved cell separation performance. Investigated and successfully optimized a variety of synthesis routes including: sol-gel synthesis and co-precipitation technique.

Adhesion enhancement of biomimetic polymer-based dry adhesives:Developed an innovative method to incorporate nanoparticles into the composite structure of the dry adhesives that resulted in a significant improvement in the adhesion properties. Designed, developed and optimized a procedure for in-situ synthesis of nanoparticles within the polymer matrix of the dry adhesives. The outcome of the work was patented and published.
