Saman holds a master of architecture degree with majors in History Theory Criticism from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. She contributed to the book titled People Called Mumbai while working with the People Place Project. Her interest in curatorial practice translated into her professional undertaking with LEAF – India where she executed a nationwide traveling exhibition. Her allied interest in urban studies and city planning led her to work with interdisciplinary urban practices over the years. Saman’s professional undertakings and other endeavors are situated at the confluence of research practice. She is constantly exploring ways to develop research content through means of archival practices, critical writing, and photojournalism.
