Technical Program Manager | Computer Networking, Wireless Technologies, Machine Learning, and R&D EnthusiastI am a Computer Engineering Student in my final year at the Queen's University, Smith Faculty of Engineering. I am passionate about hardware, wireless communications, computer networking, cryptography & network security, machine learning, neural networks, and sensor fabrication technologies.As a Hardware Program Manager Co-op at Cisco Meraki, I have been immersed in the end-to-end development of cutting-edge hardware for an 18-month term. My role focuses on developing new product introductions (NPIs) through in-depth layout and schematic reviews, component evaluations, and test result verification. I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design system-level architecture, develop detailed block diagrams, and create comprehensive test plans for RF, power, materials, signal integrity, Ethernet conformance, and key system interfaces. I also have experience in characterizing and optimizing SoC power efficiency.My experience extends to wireless technologies and RF design, where I work with next-generation standards such as Wi-Fi 7, antenna design, and cellular systems like 5G and C-V2X. I’m passionate about researching sustainable hardware practices and developing innovative alternatives to improve performance and reduce environmental impact.In addition to managing projects from concept through to deployment, I regularly engage with external stakeholders, including JDMs, component vendors, and material providers, while coordinating efforts with internal teams such as software, firmware, supply chain, and product management. My holistic approach to program management ensures smooth execution, from writing hardware product requirements to budgeting, scheduling, building, and final testing. With familiarity using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Outside of hardware, I leverage my skills in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java, as well as deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow, to explore artificial neural networks and their applications. I've held many leadership positions during my time at Queen's University such as Co-Captain of the Queen's Hyperloop Design Team, Co-Chair at TEDxQueensU, and Consulting Director at the Queen's University Business and Engineering team to name a few. My multidisciplinary background in R&D, program management, leadership, and technical expertise fuels my passion for solving complex challenges and contributing to innovative technologies that shape the future.
