At BCG Digital Ventures, I leverage user research & design strategy to validate new businesses,product & services for startups & Fortune 500 organisations.- I have conducted over 400 UX research IDIs - with people like retail consumers, business owners and executives from various industries - to uncover user needs &validate new products & services while synthesizing actionable insights &implications to drive product/service/feature definition and enable decisionmaking at the working team and executive level- I have led design teams (UX designers, junior researchers, analysts) onmultiple projects in agile sprints to deliver product/project outcomes on tighttimelines and partner with product/engineering/strategy teams.Some highlights from my various projects at BCGDV are:- Blockchain : I enabled an early stage blockchain startup to uncover & launch apilot of their first B2B usecase - credit underwriting - within 12 weeks. Thepilot generated $150k in new loan leads for the pilot customer.- Analytics SaaS: I drove the user research workstream for an early stage dataanalytics startup in the tire industry, helping them uncover their primaryusecase for their proprietary dataset and secure a pilot with one of the top10 tire manufacturers in the US. This pilot alone contributed 40% of new revenue for the client.

My current role comes at the intersection of Electronics Engineering and Industrial Design with a focus on leveraging physical computing to optimize passenger UX in self-driven vehicles.Some of the many hats I wear in the lab are Researcher, Prototyper & Interaction Designer In summary, I am involved in developing and executing interaction design concepts for various industry sponsors (like General Motors, BMW and UISee) in partnership with the Interaction Design Lab. In these multiple mobility focused projects I ideate, build and test sensor-based interaction design concepts towards the goal's of improving the in-car experience for riders and drivers.

My research project focused on analyzing feedback offered by users on design representations of a product. My work was published and presented at ICED 2017 (iced17.org)My role as a researcher in this lab involved1) Developing cutting edge Tangible Augmented Reality (TAR) models.2) Creating assets required for a usability study, which included various representations of the product used as the control. Assets included 3D models, appearance models, augmented reality models, sketches and storyboards and user stories.3) Interviewing upto 100 study volunteersunder IRB protocol for product specific research.4) Assisting Principal Researcher, Professor Young Mi Choi, in daily activities with setting up research assets, study-space, questionnaires, logging protocol and related tasks.5) Lead 2 undergraduate researchers in tasks contributing to the study.
