I am a multidisciplinary design professional using UX Research, Product Management, and Human-Centered Design to create sustainable digital plus non-digital solutions for underserved populations.I'm ex digital librarian turned Product Manager/UX Designer/UX Researcher with 7.5 years of professional content research experience for large-scale digital libraries. I pivoted to UX in 2019 and haven't looked back since. During 2020 I was the Product Manager and UX Army of One for AARP Foundation's Connect2Affect Connected Communities with Social Isolation Impact Area group. I love helping people find information they want and need. It makes me feel like I've done something to brighten their day, given them something to learn from, and hopefully helped them grow. I also found while working as a product manager on a Voice First product that I like talking to machines and making them talk back in ways that make sense. So I'm currently working on learning conversation design and working with my mentor Sohini to build my first Alexa Skill!

Product ManagerAarp Foundation Feb 2020 - Feb 2021Washington D.C. Metro AreaProduct Manager, Connect2Affect Connected Communities Program, a Voice-first and SaaS product designed to address social isolation in seniors living in affordable housing. Pivoted in May 2020 to include digital literacy trainings and smart technology distribution partnerships. Highlights:Managed relationship with 2 external vendors responsible for building/maintaining the product and creating digital literacy training assets.Championed user needs in product concepts I designed to obtain stakeholder buy-in and drive product adoption.Assisted in providing access to mobile technology for 3,500 low-income senior citizens, distributed across 200 properties nationwide, giving them free access to telehealth and virtual visits with family. Planned and conducted 12 user interviews with client representatives to redesign SaaS product, championing UX while aligning with business development, customer service, digital literacy trainers, and clients.Identified and prioritized 88 system errors, 1 new voice product, and 18 SaaS features of varying complexity over the course of 10 months. -
