I was part of the marketing communications team at Endress+Hauser. I was often involved in many other parts of the business day to day, here are some highlights of my time there:- Creation of content and the running of several large and small marketing campaigns - from year long projects to smaller 2 week campaigns.- Events management of a wide variety of internal and external events, including; the company gala dinner, 50th anniversary events, exhibitions, internal international meetings, sponsored events and customer seminars.- Internal communication using several different channels including the internal TV network, noticeboards and a weekly newsletter.- External communication including updating the company website and creation of new pages, social media, emails, magazines, PR and literature.- Department budget responsibility.- Involvement in working groups including grade of service and the green energy group, and new initiatives.- Ordering of new branded items for sales staff.

I helped to develop of a wide portfolio of events to drive undergraduate recruitment and managed several high profile events for the university. These included Open Days, UCAS HE Fairs and the Clearing Hub.I managed operational and administrative functions including; timetable coordination, risk assessments, budget management, resource management, internal liaison and event operations.I provided expertise and support to the team by means of leadership, direction and project management.I also supported the delivery of many other events within the team, including residential’s, children’s university, test drives, postgraduate events, campus visits and representing the University at UCAS fairs alongside education liaison.Ensured excellent customer service by delivering events on time, with considerate and well thought-out communications and exceeding expectations.Analysis of event success and reporting.

I was involved in the recruitment, staffing and management of some of the UK’s largest festivals and events. Events worked on include Radio One’s Big Weekend, V Festival, Leeds Festival, Oktoberfest, Intercruise, The Grand National, Tatton Park Christmas Parties, Chester Races and BBC Proms in the Park.Start to end recruitment of staff involving advertising, interviewing and admin. Advertising efforts included sending mass emails out using Mailchimp, text message advertising and social media.Sourcing of equipment and booking venues, travel and hotels. Liaising with suppliers, managing budgets, payroll admin and logistics.Account management of key clients, developing relationships to ensure effective, efficient and successful event delivery.Onsite operations management involving managing 100’s of staff, prioritising and delivering numerous activities, and dealing with issues that arise on site.

I worked behind the many bars at the Manchester Arena, selling food and beverages.

I worked in the north stand, the new Sir Alex Ferguson stand, in one of the premier suites. I spent most of my time behind the bar, either making drinks or on the main till. I often managed all of the tables in the room on the till, and make sure tabs are up to date and paid for.

I worked behind the bar as a member of the bar staff at 5th avenue club. My role included selling alcoholic drinks, keeping the bar clean, dealing with customers issues and flyering.
