I am currently working as a Clinical Coder / Administrator after relocating to Lancashire in February's 2020. Prior to this move I was a Practice Manager at Bournbrook Varsity Medical Centre and then worked for a year remotely as their Remote Finance Manager until a Business Manager could be found to replace me. I have worked in General Practice for the past 20 years. During this time I have undertaken all of the various administrative roles and therefore have a varied skill set and good understanding of the many fundamental functions of running a GP practice.I have also spent some time working with the PCT / CCG on many different groups and project boards over the years.I have a Certificate in Managing in Health and Social Care (CertMHSC) from the Institute of Healthcare Management and over the years have attended many master classes and courses on various topics to update and improve my knowledge and skills. Most recently I completed a 6 day course entitled General Practice Improvement Leaders delivered by NHS England.
