I was able to work with families to define and work towards meeting realistic goals through the family partnership process. Initiated the school becoming a GED study and testing site, initiated the school becoming a Presumptive Eligibility site so all students and their families could access public health insurance options. Created and supported numerous community connections including partnerships with Public Health, WIC, various local churches, local newspapers, local school district, Nurturing Parenting Program, and Chaffee County Early Childhood Council among others. Supported families through crisis intervention and resource referrals to outside agencies.
