I am currently serving as an Active Duty Army Nurse Corps Officer. I have worked as a Med/Surg Nurse for 2 years and have experience as a primary preceptor to over 10 new nurses, charge nurse, and have the leadership capabilities to confidently optimize team performance through delegation and time management, creating individualized plans of care, and adherence to standards to positively impact patient outcomes.I have served as a Joint Commission auditor as a TJC tracer, CAF auditor, and a hand hygiene auditor. I was the President of the Madigan Army Medical Center Juanita Warman Conference, contributing a crucial role in fundraising over $7,000, coordinating with national speakers and event facilities, and facilitating Continuing Nursing Education with the Defense Health Agency standards.I currently serve as an IV Champion, educating staff on central lines, central line dressing changes, and PICC removals. I am a certified instructor for teaching new users how to place Ultrasound Guided IV’s, and am in the process of earning my Vascular Access Board Certification. I have obtained BLS, ALS, PALS, and Ultrasound Guided IV Therapy.
