The UC Coalition for Reproductive Justice The UC Coalition for Reproductive Justice was founded in 2019 at the University of California-Los Angeles. For the past year, we've been researching and developing a plan for how to most effectively fight for access to rape test kits on all California public university on-campus health centers. We plan on authoring and pushing through state legislation during the upcoming congressional cycle. In addition to advocating for rape test kits, we will be pursuing Title IX reform and pushing back against Betsy Devos' rollbacks head-on.As a director of the External Relations Committee, my work centers around coalition-building and creating lasting relationships with other UCLA organizations, The Undergraduate Student Association Council, UCLA administration, Reproductive Justice Organizations at other UCs/CSUs. More specific examples of my role include outreach with legislative stakeholders, representing UCCRJ at LACRJ and other reproductive justice organizations, and spearheading initiatives to increase support for survivors on campus.
