Managing the pub, restaurant and hotel rooms. Dealing with all staffing and financial matters, supplier contracts, laundry services and room sales. Working behind the bar (various shifts) and in the kitchen for breakfast service. Being located close to Stansted Airport the clientele was very varied with the pub being open from 8am-11pm 7 days a week.

Developing and improving the member journey experience, managing all delegate registrations and cultural tours for FISITA events, supporting the CEO and Director of Member Services, working closely with the Events Manager and leading the Membership Projects Assistant.

Developing a full careers service for the Retail Automotive Industry; informing, engaging and exciting 11-24 year olds and their influencers about career opportunities within the various sub-sectors; supporting Student Members, IMI Approved Centres and young professionals through their life association with the IMI and highlighting the benefits of being part of the IMI community; representing the organisation at various events; organising and facilitating event days at Santa Pod, competitions for schools and working with the Skill Auto and Skills Show team in order to engage with thousands of young people annually.

Leading a team of Member Services & Events Coordinators; overseeing their 100+ events per year from workshops and CPD events to multi speaker conferences and annual dinners; taking ownership of the larger events to project plan, manage budgets, report on and ensure the strategic aims are met; representing the organisation in a variety of arenas; selling and up selling of membership to both individuals and organisations; working alongside 11 volunteer committes to support 11,000 members based in the London & Southern area; providing professional development opportunities; developing relationships and setting up activities with employers and local colleges/universities to encourage engagement with a professional body; supporting students into employment and membership.

Supporting members in Essex, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire; organising meetings and minute taking for four volunteer committees; working with the committees to create an annual event programme liaising with venues, speakers and attendees; putting together marketing collateral, taking bookings and gathering feedback for around 35 events annually; working as a team member on larger events and projects; developing plans for a locally based young professionals group.
