Working alongside fellow researchers and surgeons at University Hospitals, Matthew Mailing Centre, I completed my MSc thesis utilizing pathological schemas, with in vitro/in vivo methodologies.Project duties:- In vitro: mammalian cell culture, passaging, cryopreservation, RNA isolation, plasmid transfection, flow cytometry, Western blotting, microscopy, cell death assays and various molecular biological techniques. - In vivo: Working alongside our facility microsurgeon, Dr. Jifu Jiang, I completed 40+ mouse abdominal heterotopic heart transplantations. This included aspects of animal husbandry, observation, experimental end-point euthanasia, histopathology, QuPATH analyses, blind tissue scoring, and RNA/serum/protein-based assays. Show less

Assisted the customer service team in coordinating trades for outstanding tasks. Liaised with construction, pre-construction, service and trades to provide aid in a timely fashion for home-owners.

Assisting at Tucker HiRise’s head office organizing and cleaning the warehouse. Moved to on-site positions in various Toronto buildings assisting Customer Care teams with audits and administrative duties.

Worked as a sales representative and a cashier part time whilst in school. Stocked products, set up displays, checked out customers on cash and aided in service where necessary.
