After school teaching position to tutor students aged 6-10 years in MIT’s visual programming language, Scratch. Responsibilities include translating lesson plans into Spanish, giving a short lecture to introduce new topics, and guiding students through newly learned techniques to create games, cartoons, or animated graphics. Lessons are taught 90% in Spanish to accompany the student’s dual language program.

Assisted project engineers in ongoing groundwater treatment well monitoring on one of the largest pump-and-treat systems in the United States. Took field samples monthly and analyzed results for internal and external reports. Assisted in updating as-built design records using AutoCAD.

Provided support in establishing and maintaining the Stevens Living Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Elizabeth Fassman-Beck. Designed, fabricated, installed and monitored stormwater technologies, such as weirs, green roof research trays, and water quality monitoring systems. Aided in performing data analysis used to program hydrologic analysis algorithms in Python.

Research position focused in performing routine field tests for an established rain garden. Completed necessary maintenance such as weir calibration via flooding, numerous infiltration tests and clearing unnecessary debris from the garden. Analyzed results using various methods to determine the efficiency of the system.
