ISCA's mission is to support independent school board chairs in being effective governance leaders for their schools. ISCA accomplishes this by offering peer support and networking, resources and educational opportunities.

Marin Primary & Middle School (MP&MS) is a pre-K through eighth grade independent school, located in Larkspur, CA. Key accomplishments as Board Chair include: 2015-2020 Strategic Plan, middle school enrollment and curriculum expansion, state-of-the-art science facility funding and completion, oversight of long-standing Head of School retirement and the recruitment and transition of new Head of School, Investment Committee and Fund for Financial Aid creation, California Association of Independent Schools seven-year accrediation, provided broader leadership during pandemic, creation of COVID Relief Fund, increased annual fundraising/donations, and transitioned new Board Chair during 2020/21 school year.
