As a Platform Communications Specialist at TMX, I support the development and maintenance of the company's online platforms, such as websites and social media channels. I curate engaging and informative content for various audiences using my skills in content creation, social media management, and graphic design. I also collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the platforms are aligned with the company's brand, vision, and goals.I have a passion for library and information science, which I pursued through my Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. During my studies, I gained valuable experience in various aspects of library services, such as cataloging, collection development, digital preservation, and public outreach. I also completed several internships that enhanced my skills in social media management, marketing and communications, and local history research. I am a Certified Public Librarian in the state of NC, and I enjoy learning new skills and exploring new trends in the field.My hobbies include creative writing, graphic design, and learning new skills.
