I believe in the power of the nonprofit sector because I’ve seen it in action. As Communications Manager at Open Hand Atlanta, my role is to convey the importance and impact of our work in the Food As Medicine space. Everything I do is to support Open Hand's pursuit to provide delicious, nourishing meals and nutrition education to thousands of people who are home-bound or too sick to cook for themselves. We serve seniors, children and families, and neighbors who are at-risk, have a disability, or are living with chronic illnesses. By identifying our various stakeholders and creating targeted messaging strategies, I can ensure that we're creating and maintaining the vital connections in our communities that support those we serve. We believe that food saves lives, and with the community by our side, we can continue to impact thousands of Georgians every year.
