Managing the stores backroom, I organized and replenished the inventory with the arrival of new merchandise every week. On the sales floor, I worked directly with customers in creating fashionable outfits based upon the individuals tastes and preferences. Multi-tasking, I established rapport, provided customer service and always ensured the customer entered and exited the store feeling the made a great purchase while feeling amazing the in the clothes they discovered.

Working within the Student Services Department in College of the Sequoias at the Tulare College Center, I partook in multiple duties:- Present information regarding the step-by-step in becoming a student within College of the Sequoias, such as the institutions Application, Placement Testing, Counseling and Registration- Provide students with correct and accurate information regarding Student Support Services available throughout College of the Sequoias- Provide and maintain accurate information regarding institution application, financial support services, Placement Testing, Counseling Services- Collaborate with staff across the three College of the Sequoias campuses to better assist current and incoming students- Plan, organize and deliver informational sessions regarding College of the Sequoias and the Tulare College Center- Communicate with students through email and phone to discuss application and enrollment status and school news- Assist with creating marketing flyers to promote the Tulare College Center, campus events- Plan and coordinate campus tours- Plan and conduct Placement Testing at local High Schools- Plan and Conduct S.T.E.P.S. for High School Seniors to register for their Fall 2018 Semester courses

I interned within the Learning Center at CSU Fresno in the office of SupportNet where I worked directly with at-risk students who were on Academic Probation or Disqualification. Additionally, I offered the following duties:- Provide students with Academic Coaching strategies, such as time and stress management, anxiety, study strategies, motivation, concentration and self-testing- Develop and presented Academic Success Workshop on various educational topics- Develop PowerPoints for new online versions of the Academic Success Workshops- Work directly with students identified as at risk- Collaborate with staff across the Learning Center and Campus to promote departmental services- Facilitate group counseling sessions for students currently on Academic Probation or Disqualification- Assist and advise students who have been identified as at-risk academically- Assist fellow interns to develop PowerPoints for Academic Success Workshops, and provide constructive feedback- Mentor and supervise new SupportNet Interns and conduct professional trainings- Create marketing flyers to promote Fresno State’s Learning Center- Communicate with students through email and phone to schedule appointments, answer questions and to provide information regarding the Learning Center- Discuss relationship between General Education and Major and/or Minor choice with students, including career goals and requirements for Graduation
