• Performed office engineering tasks, including composing RFIs/submittal packages, updating construction logs, revising monthly pay applications, and attending design/purchasing meetings.• Performed field engineering tasks, including site surveying, laying out walls/columns, cross-referencing field conditions to project/shop drawings, checking deliveries, and coordinating with subcontractors on-site.

This multi-year research project is funded by the Construction Industry Institute (CII) on quality metrics. It involves close collaboration with the membership through research teams of academics, owners, and contractors. I worked under Dr. Robert Ries, Director of the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management.

• Acted as the Project Manager for the Duval Elementary School classroom and restroom renovation project for the Alachua County School Board ($300K). This included overseeing the job from end to end, corresponding with subcontractors, owner/architect, and city for permitting, and auditing all change orders and accounting.• Acted as a Project Engineer under a single Project Manager for a number of projects, including UF Dasburg President's House ($5MM), UF Yon Hall Living Well Renovation ($1.2MM), and UF MAE Building 719 Renovation Phase I, II and AHU Replacement ($2.4MM).• Reviewed submittals and wrote RFIs during project startup and tracked both in updated logs throughout the course of each project. • Compiled start-up books for new projects and close out documents for completed projects.• Used Primavera Contract Management software to develop and update contracts and change orders.• Proficient in Bluebeam Revu eXtreme software.• Proficient in Microsoft Project scheduling software.

• Field intern on the $43M Regional Transit System (RTS) Bus Fleet Maintenance & Operations Facility Project.• Kept all field drawings sets up to date with revisions, addendums and RFIs.• Updated certified payroll for all laborers on-site in accordance with Davis-Bacon Act requirements.• Performed ongoing quality control evaluations as project progressed.• Kept updated binders of submittal logs, RFI logs, safety logs, material testing and inspections, equipment logs and subcontractor daily reports.• Photographed each of the five buildings on an ongoing basis to keep site website current.• Created information packets for all attendees at monthly OAC and weekly subcontractor meetings.

• Assisted with project engineering duties for multiple interior renovations within University Hospital Pavilion, Kendall Regional Medical Center, and Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, FL. Also assisted with two new hospital helipads at University of Miami Hospital and Jackson South Community Hospital in Miami, FL, as well as Nova Southeastern University’s new athletic field, stadium bleachers and restrooms in Davie, FL. • Used OnScreen software to perform quantity takeoffs.• Used Viewpoint software to develop and track contractor submittals and RFI’s; updated OAC meeting minutes.• Reviewed submittals with specifications and drawings for correctness/accuracy before submitting to architect.• Attended a Pre-Bid project walk-thru for Jackson South Community Hospital’s new project and participated in an AHCA inspection at Kendall Regional Medical Center’s new NICU department.• Performed several closeout books for completed projects, including multiple Kendall Regional Medical Center projects and Florida National University’s parking garage addition.
