Samantha is a graduate from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with an Animal Science major and a Dairy Science minor. Samantha grew up raising livestock in Lompoc, CA. She became involved in agriculture when she joined her local 4H group, which instilled in her even more reason to become an Animal Science major at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Through her involvement at Cal Poly, Samantha has been able to become more involved with the livestock and agriculture industry by being involved in Cal Poly's Western Bonanza Junior Livestock Show. She was formerly one of the Media Committee chairs and Sponsorship Coordinators. Along with school, Samantha also worked for Nutri Source Premium Pet Foods for over a year as their Demo Sales Rep for the Central Coast of California. Along with her background in pet food Samantha also worked as a Veterinary Technician at a small animal veterinary clinic in Morro Bay, California. These experiences ultimately lead Samantha to choose a career within animal pharmaceuticals. She became a part of Boehringer Ingelheim's Customer Care Department in August of 2018 and quickly mastered the ins and outs of the company and corporate procedures. From there she was hired into the Field Sales Development Department where she grew her technical, sales, and product knowledge. This program allowed her to temporarily take over a territory in southeast Missouri while and outside sales representative was on leave. This experience allowed her to work with our customers to achieve sales goals, grow product penetrations, and support our veterinary business partners.Samantha is now the Pet Sales Representative for Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health in Annapolis, Maryland.
