As a Dining-Room Server at The Keg Steakhouse & Bar, I provide exceptional customer service and hospitality to our guests, while balancing my studies in Business Administration Human Resources at Mohawk College. I am passionate about pursuing a career in HR, where I can apply my skills and knowledge in people management, training and development, and performance management.Before joining The Keg, I spent seven years in the casino and gaming industry, where I progressed from a Table Games Dealer to a Dual-Rate Pit Manager at Great Canadian Gaming Corporation. I was part of the opening team for Elements Casino Flamboro's Table Games department, where I led and organized a team of 10 to 20 dealers and supervisors to meet fluctuating business needs and manage day-to-day operations. I also served as the site's Responsible Gaming Champion, ensuring responsible gaming initiatives and objectives for the site were being met and taking a vested interest in the well-being of our guests. Through this experience, I learned about my personal leadership style, enhanced my oral communication and HR management skills, and contributed to the department's and company's success and growth.
