Keeps data flowing, governed, secured, and accessible.● Chair the College’s data governance committee, with a focus on improvement of data resource visibility, clarity of definition, and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior, policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture● Conceive, develop, and implement innovative and creative solutions leading to continuously improved data services. Provide a means for frequent and ongoing feedback to the department on the effectiveness of services offered and of interaction with the clients served. Utilize data and feedback to drive change and sustain standard practices while evolving the culture, policy and procedures and the College● Explore use of experimental data technologies (e.g. machine learning, predictive technologies, warehouse/lakes) for implementation at the College● Ensure systems of record and data definitions are well documented, cataloged, and kept current● Develop and revise policy and procedures and identify software needs to support data programs. Update policy and procedures to support the College's requirements. Establish best practices procedures to coordinate and facilitate total customer satisfaction for the areas the department supports.

Serve as in-house expert and authority leading and promoting innovative, flexible, and feasible data designs that meet business needs and is responsible for the overall plans to initiate and pursue continuous data quality improvements. Facilitates and guides technology solutions to ensure that the solution design adheres to the strategic direction of the College. Explores the use and implementation of ML, AWS, and other technologies to the higher education industry. Provides guidance on data architecture matters that include data management, data governance, data standards, and the data architectural repository. Provides leadership and mentoring in areas of expertise to peers, developers, management, and business users including technical expertise and ad-hoc training. Utilizes strong analytical skills and curiosity to discover opportunities for impact and better user experience.

Oversee all aspects of systems, technology, and data analytics for the division. Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing information technology strategies and solutions to support department initiatives and the College’s goals. Lead and support efforts to provide data analysis that informs fundraising strategies in collaboration with advancement operations staff. Lead and manage a team of Business and Technology Analysts with a collaborative team-driven approach that includes building and maintaining clear lines of communication and encouraging innovation, creativity, and excellence. Act as main ITS liaison and oversee compliance with mandatory data security and protocols. Collaborate with all campus partners to assist in the formulation and resolution of institutional campaign questions and technical needs. Convey complex data information to diverse audiences in an understandable way. Develop project management strategies to track and monitor progress on all systems and technology projects workload. Ensure subject matter expertise exists within my team to solve complex technical issues, discover software failures, identify solutions, and implement product or process enhancements. Proven skills and vision in the strategic deployment and use of systems, applications, and data to support a complex business, organization, systems, applications, and data environment.

Currently handle and process data requests from multiple end users within and outside of the department. Create reports, tools, procedures and forms utilizing oracle pl/sql and Jaspersoft. Act as a project manager and technical lead on a variety of projects that need to be revisited or enhanced. Coordinate and partner with other departments to re-engineer and streamline their processes. These include a complete overhaul of:• The College’s Endowed Fund Project• Receipting for the College• Commitment Statements for the College• Matching Gift Process for our data entry team. Am a co-leader on multiple system upgrades, going through the entire lifecycle of the project in multiple roles. Typical role out includes acting as a Quality Analyst testing the new options and seeing if it breaks any established college rules, implementing the upgrade to the servers and pushing it out to the end users, as well as creating and delivering end user training. Recently, I have overhauled how we store our files, leading from a hard-file cabinet system to an online database where all files can be accessed and viewed by those users who have appropriate access. Additionally, up-keeps a living training database as the need arises. As of now, have created templates for Project Plans, Test Plans, Postmortem meeting templates, Training Materials and more.

It is a lunchtime concert that also collects donations for the Worcester food bank• Lead a concert band of 90+ members for a minimum of twice a week rehearsals• Recently helped plan, rehearse, arrange music and execute a groundbreaking concert featuring a full live rock band with concert band.• Have taught flute and piccolo for 13 years• Established WPI Flute Choir in 2013 with the intent to expose our flute players to an entirely different set of repertoire. It features all members of the flute family and presents a variety of musical styles, from re-worked classical compositions, original flute choir music, jazz and popular music. Has grown in the past year from four members to eleven. • Established WPI Woodwind Quintet in 2013, which delivers a rich tradition of chamber music. In addition to covering customary wind quintet literature, this ensemble also performs selections from popular music.
