The Program Manager ensures leadership opportunities and quality friendships are provided to individuals with and without disabilities and that the mission of Best Buddies is promoted throughout the community.

● Oversee all aspects of program organization, including development of training plans, hiring of assistant staff, managing, and evaluating program structure of First Row, Adaptive, and Veterans Rowing programs.● Manage all aspects of volunteer participation, including recruitment, training, supervision, and scheduling by training all volunteers in best practices to working with individuals with disabilities.● Public relations development through community education, involvement, and support. ● Consistently participate in events throughout the community to increase the visibility of Three Rivers Rowing Association programs and the number of active participants and volunteers. ● Launched the Veterans Rowing Program in 2016 with over 25 veterans participating from the VA of Pittsburgh, Wounded Warrior Project, and Veterans Programs from local colleges.● Head Coach of the adaptive rowing program for 40 athletes with various disabilities including, but not limited to, cerebral palsy, blind and visual impairment, spinal cord injuries, amputees, autism, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and intellectual disabilities.● Head coach of the inner-city rowing team, First Row, a grant funded rowing team specifically designed to help young girls.● Organized the annual Head of the Ohio and Pittsburgh Indoor Rowing Championships to bring in significant profits to Three Rivers Rowing Association. ● Created new fundraising opportunities for the First Row team in order to attend new races while remaining under budget for the year.

● Provide quality therapeutic mental health services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, primarily in the homes of families and in community settings and through schools. ● Implement behavioral interventions as per the treatment plan and meet with the treatment team to collaborate and share client information. ● Provided services to six children with autism and their families by working on the plans created by the Behavior Service Coordinator.● Was instrumental in securing a donation of 15 iPads to Wesley Spectrum Services. Was responsible for setup and ensuring the proper software was installed to benefit children with autism.

Slippery Rock University

● Manager of the Slippery Rock University Transition Program, which helps high school aged children with intellectual disabilities transition from school to the work force and/or college. Programs include job skills, nutrition, physical activity, and residential training. ● Provide expertise and leadership to 20 graduate students so that they can help run the Transition Program.● Organize and lead over 100 mentors that will assist the students from various local high schools.● Assist the Adapted Physical Activity professors with all programs at Slippery Rock University including Kids in Action, Veterans of Butler PA, and Special Olympics of Butler County.
